Competitive Team Programs
Here at Method, we believe in the process. No matter how strong or experienced of a climber you are, we believe that making the daily choice to commit to your sport is what will drive results. With our combined knowledge + experience, along with the high-end facility and setting Method has to offer, we know that we have the tools for success available to us. Winning is not everything, but it sure is a lot of fun.
Being a member of the Method Comp Team is a privilege to be earned by athletes and coaches alike. We hold ourselves accountable to the same degree we hold our climbers. If you are willing to put in the work, so are we. If you ever feel you need a change with your training or experience, we ask that you please communicate so we may work towards finding a solution together and continue to grow as a team. Strong communication will be crucial in establishing an open channel between athletes, coaches, and parents throughout the seasons.

Why Method
We don't aim to create athletes who always need a coach beside them. We develop climbers who understand movement, solve problems independently, and continue improving long after the coach steps away.
Athlete Expectations:
Goal Setting – Make sure you are proactively giving yourself objectives to work towards throughout the season. Setting daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal goals is a great way to organize yourself and make the impossible seem possible. This is certainly not something you have to do alone – we can set goals together!!!
Punctuality – We expect all climbers to arrive to practice on time, every time. If you expect to be late on any given day, we ask that you communicate so we may plan accordingly.
Try Hard – The more you put in, the more we can put in and most effectively help you to reach your goals.
Be Supportive – This should go without saying; our team is a community, and we expect each member to be kind and respectful of one another.
Communication – This may seem repetitive, but only because it is so important. Communication is a key element in team building and creating a healthy dynamic – So don’t be shy!!! We are here for you.
Heart + Passion – We all have bad days, it’s those who persevere through tough times that go the distance. Don’t let discouragement knock you off course. Heart + passion for climbing is how you ended up on the team, so let’s remember to have fun! After all, the best climber is the one having the most fun.
Sportsmanship – Whether at another gym, a comp, at school, or the crag – you are an ambassador and representative of the Method Comp Team and will be expected to conduct yourself with integrity and good sportsmanship.
Athletes - Must sign up and attend 1:1 private and zoom meeting
